Are You A Golf Fanatic?
Surrounded by some of Queensland’s finest golf courses, Trinity Beach is the place for the golf enthusiast to stay.
A short drive takes you to Paradise Palms, one of the hardest and most beautiful resort courses in Australia. Par 72 (AGU Rating 76), this is a true test for even the best golfer.
Visitors are also welcome at Halfmoon Bay Golf Course, Gordonvale and Cairns Golf Course. These are three championship courses that run local competitions on most days where visitors are more than welcome to come along.
A 40 minute drive north takes you to Port Douglas where you have the choice of Mirage Country Club, a resort course or Sea Temple Golf Club, a links style course. Both courses offer the ultimate experience for the golfing fanatic. Another 10 minutes up the road and you find Mossman Golf Club. A combination of both resort style and links in the one 18 holes.
The tablelands also offer a number of championship courses from Atherton to Mareeba, Milla Milla, Innisfail and Babinda.
Motorised golf carts are available at most courses.
